How to help with SPLASH

SPLASH Could Be For You!
If you or your congregation is looking for a way to serve and make a difference, read on! During June and July, in cooperation with LFS, Reformation Lutheran Church provides a program for about 50 refugee/immigrant children, ages 4-12, to help them with skills so they can keep up with their peers and be more effective members of our community and culture. The program includes education enrichment (English, math, reading, writing), music and crafts, field trips and guests, recreation and play time, meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks), and individual attention. How could you help?

STAFF and VOLUNTEERS
We are recruiting staff for a variety of roles, a few with small stipends. With volunteers, we need about 10 people each day for a variety of roles. Volunteers may serve one day a week, one week, the entire program, or what works for you.

YOUTH GROUPS
A group could use this as a mission trip experience without the added costs of travel. A maximum of six weeks is available on a first come basis.

SPONSOR A CHILD
You can sponsor a child at $100 a week or $600 for the summer. You can also sponsor a day of camp for $1000. Other options are also available.

GIFTS IN KIND
There will be a list of specific needs for the program/children. You or your group could help with a specific need one they are identified for this year.
