SPLASH Summer Camp

WHAT IS SPLASH
SPLASH is a six week summer camp program for about 50 refugee and immigrant children ages 4-12. It meets Monday - Friday from about 8:30 am to 3:30 pm in the SPLASH House at Reformation Lutheran Church. The program includes English language, writing, reading, and math skills, field trips, music, crafts, play time, and two meals and a snack each day.

WHY IS SPLASH NEEDED
Refugee and immigrant children, as well as economically deprived children, are often vulnerable and at risk. They are at high risk for failure and need help to keep up with their peers. Programs like SPLASH provide academic help, summer fun, supervision so parents can work, nutritious meals during the summer, and support learning and growth during the summer.
